The soup I'm best at is what I call "clean out the refrigerator soup". It's also know colloquially as "Stone Soup", from the folklore story of the same name.

Never the same twice, it's basically whatever you can find thrown into the pot. Add some potatoes, carrot, onions, etc., and you've got meals for a few days.

there must be something wrong with me, because i do NOT like vegetable soup. i like most other kinds. i do like borscht, but i never liked veg. soup. Consequently, no one in my house has ever eaten it!!

and stew? forget it. i was in 2d grade, was in the hospital to have my tonsils out and they served that and i hurled. i have not touched it since. i know this is WAY TMI!!!!
