She said coffee had been implicated in raising cholesterol levels, which can, in turn, lead to heart disease. It was difficult to study the health effects of high coffee intake, she said, because heavy users often also smoked and drank alcohol to excess

They will have to pry my DD thermos from my cold dead hands.

Look, I am a danger to society without my coffee. And not just in the morning. I need that mid day fix, and evening fix.

"I" don't run with sharp scissors. (Ya can't carry enough donuts on the tip....)

"I" make my donut runs in the van with the A/C going.

(Changes subject abruptly.)

Teach! Teach!

(Waves hand hand in air..... Waves it again....)

Teach!

Yesterday white rose was followin' me, and, and today Xsex is casting aspersians in my direction about pointy objects.

And I don't want to see no snakes or pyramids in the middle of her rug.

True, but that is a sword that can cut both ways.

It could if the republicans had the same blatant disregard for rule of law that the democraps do; but they don't.

Sorry to disagree, but the legislation that sets up commission, hardly qualifies as Law. I cannot imagine, in say '05 when Dingleberry is gone, the Administration not doing something politically adroit.

From xs's link

Thanks to Bill Clinton, Berry's term runs until 2005. But that doesn't mean President Bush can't move to fire her.

Then-President Reagan tried to do just that in 1983; the Democratic-controlled Congress then rewrote the rules so that commissioners no longer serve "at the pleasure of the president."

But there are serious doubts about the legality of that law, given that it violates Article II of the Constitution, which gives presidents the right to name and remove members of executive branch agencies. No court has yet ruled on it.

Looks like shaky "law" to me.

Huh? What? What's goin on around here? That ain't my beautiful wife. Nor my beautiful house.

A blonde goes to an electronic store. She goes up to the salesman and says, "I'd like to buy this TV." The salesman replies, "Sorry I don't sell to blondes," and the blonde, very angry, goes home.

The next day she dresses up very professionally, pins her hair up and puts on a pair of glasses. She goes back to the store and says to the same salesman "I'd like to buy this TV" The salesman again says "sorry but I don't sell to blondes." Now the blonde is very angry.

The next day she dyes her hair brown and puts on the glasses and goes back to the store. Again she says to the salesman "I'd like to buy this TV," and again the salesman replies "Sorry I don't sell to blondes." The blonde starts yelling "I'm not blonde, look my hair is brown. Why won't you just sell be the damn TV?"

The salesman replies "Because it's a microwave..."

Which is kind of my point. There is no way the Dems regain the house or Senate in 04, which means that Bush can pretty much appoint whomever he pleases in 05, or disband the commission....or Move it under the Homeland security Umbrella Just for yuks....Since, the civil rights of all americans must be guarded more vigilantly now that they are among us....tee hee...

Or have the commission meet in Jefford's broom closet of an office.

Sucks to be back in the lab again now that ever-thing went and broke down whilst I was gone... I AM INDISPENSABLE. Yes I am. [back pat]
