I saw that thread Slippy. At the risk of pissing off some of my friends, I posted a link on that thread to the Philip Morris USA website that asserts quite the opposite of the conclusions of the World Health Organization. Normally, I would expect that research data from a "health organization" would be more reliable and less agenda driven than data published on the site of a Tobacco company. In this case however, the reverse appears to be the case.

Philip Morris Company: There is no such thing as a "safe" cigarette

I don't think anyone in here gets upset with anyone else, Vast. At least I hope that's the way we are!

Isn't it odd that for years the tobacco companies have been saying smoking is not harmful, and the WHO said it was harmful. Now it's all juxtaposed.

I, personally, don't like smoking in restaurants; however, bar smoking should be dictated by the owner. Period.

Cyber and I are going back to my sister and BIL's home after Thanksgiving. They do not like smoking. We smoke outside. It doesn't matter. It's their home.

I'm still wondering where all the levied taxes on tobacco have gone.
