Molly, if you would be a little more prompt in responding to your pings here at FR, you could probably avoid the problem of pinging phone messages ;~)

Molly, that happened to me once; over and over again; it was driving me crazy. We have caller ID so I tried calling back to that number but it just rang and rang and no one picked up. I finally figured out that it was a fax machine calling our number, thinking it was calling another fax machine. So I called our phone company and somehow they were able to trace the origin of the call and tell them to stop calling.

p.s. These were long distance calls and we were charged for them...........had to call the phone company again to have the charges removed. Check your next bill.
