I have a funeral story. My family is just bizarre. My brother showed up and my grandmother's house today for the viewing in black jeans and a black shirt. He also brought a black suit and silk shirt for the funeral.
Well, he said as soon as he walked in the door my mother and grandmother threw a fit over what he was wearing. So they decided that he would wear my grandfather's clothes to the viewing!!!! Can you believe that, he is going to show up wearing my dead grandfather's clothes. Talk about creepy.
My brother is 38, but honestly if he would have said he's not wearing a 87 year old dead man's clothes they wouldn't have let him go.
So now you see why I live in Michigan and my family lives in California.
I told him that one day we will look back at this and laugh. Or at least I hope we will.
