OMG, vast, you are subbing?? By default, I decided to sub and post today's class. I can't give it the attention it deserves because I have to get other things done, but at least there is a class today.

Perhaps
McDonalds is having problems with market share because of jejeune concerns in our health conscious society.

A+. Eating at McDonalds produces a jejune (3) diet.

I love jejune. It's a terrific word! :-)
Good choice.

Thank you, ma'am.

ROFLOL. Well if y'all want to support me in my endeavor to be a full time teacher, I am all for it. You know I loathe alarm clocks and such. I must be up front and let you know the new Baby eats like a pig, and must be kept in chew toys!

Here is my example with the WFTD. Junk scientist Tyrone Hayes would never let standards of proper research prevent him from publishing his
jejune (2)
fraudulent frog research.

i must have been thinking CAMP LeJeune with my spelling. you didn't rag on me for that like miss rika did!! As a first- (and probably last)-time subbie, I didn't have the heart to count off for misspelling.
That reminds me: On "Family Affair" last night, Tim Curry as Mr. French had a truly great line. He was correcting the horrendous misspelling of a boy in the classroom he was visiting with Jody and Buffy and the teacher reprimanded him saying that "we encourage the children to express themselves with whatever spelling they choose; we call it intuitive spelling." He responded, "Well I call it state-sponsored illiteracy!" I was ROTFLOL.
