AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 655) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 6, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/06/2002 4:31:08 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

THE SENATE HAS BEEN LIBERATED!!!

THE DASHCLEAN CAPTIVITY HAS COME TO AN END!!!

In the pre-game analysis yesterday, the media pundits, the media talking heads, the leftist prognasticators who are all visionary gave the following pronouncements:

The demoflops would either take control of the House or reduce the GOP majority.

The demoflops would hold on to, or increase, their majority in the Senate.

The demoflops would take a majority of the state houses.

The demoflops would win in the state of Florida.

Now that the game has been played, and the contest settled, it is time to look at the scoreboard.

The headline in today's Washington Pravda says it all:

GOP WINS BOTH HOUSES

1. House - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has at least maintained their current majority. The current status is:

GOP - 226
Criminal Party - 204
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still four races that have not been decided. These are:

CO 07 - GOP leading 48-46% with 88% counted
LA 05 - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidates with 66% of the vote
NM 01 - GOP losing 49-51% with 98% counted
TX 23 - GOP losing 47-52% with 74% counted

2. Senate - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has gained absolute majority. The widow Carnahan has lost her race, so applying Missouri law, Daschle is no longer the Illigitimate Majority Leader, and resumes his correct title of Minority Leader.

LATE BREAKING - MINNESOTA CALLED FOR COLEMAN!

GOP - 51
Criminal Party - 46
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still two races left to call:

Louisiana - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidate with 51% of the vote South Dakota - Thune(R) leads by 949 votes with 99% counted

3. Governors - demoflops FAILED. The GOP retains a majority of the state houses.

GOP - 26
Criminal Party - 19
Can't Decide Which Party - 0

There are still five races to decide:

AL - Incumbent demoflop leads by 3,139 with 100% counted. Likely recount.
AZ - GOP losing 44-47% with 99% counted. Likely recount.
OK - GOP losing by 6,357 votes. Likely recount.
OR - GOP losing 47-48% with 76% counted.
VT - GOP leading 45-42% (13% for 8 minor candidates) with 96% counted.

The demoflops hoped to legitimize Carnahan. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to win in Minnesota with Mondale. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to cashier Jeb Bush in Florida. They failed. JEB WINS BY SEVEN POINTS! NO RECOUNTS, HANGING CHADS, OR MISSING ELECTRONS HERE!!

The demoflops hoped the voters in Northern Virginia and Tidewater Virginia would willingly vote to raise their own taxes. They failed - on both counts.

The demoflops hoped to make the election a referendum that would denounce the President. The President picked up the gauntlet. THE DEMOFLOPS FAILED IN EVERY CATEGORY POSSIBLE!

IT IS A COMPLETE DEFEAT FOR THE CRIMINAL PARTY.

Tomorrow - we get down to business. But...

TODAY - WE RELISH OUR FULL VICTORY.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Hey! I got a Volvo!!! We could fling that!!!!!

Aerogoddammics are better on a Bug. We need to find a Beetle without an alarm. On the other hand, we could demonstrate the doppler effect with one sounding it's alarm.

You guys are too Monty Python for me.

Hey... let's fling a cow.

Another great song by the Association...Enter The Young.

Would you believe I once found a coconut in the middle of a woods in Door County, in March.

I belive it was left from King Arthur.

Well, if we flung a cow, it would be really really hard to position the grille to catch it on re-entry....

Still waiting on a call-back from the protocol officer about your question.

No cows. No animal will be injured in the production of this travesty. ;>)

Would you believe I once found a coconut in the middle of a woods in Door County, in March.

Not possible. There is no way a Door County sparrow can carry a coconut. Especially in March. They're moulting.

I dunno. If we can get an accurate weight on the cow, I've got some good ballistics programs. We might have to convert from pounds to grains (and re-declare integers into double-long-words).

hayburner, I saw someone from Florida on another thread who said that his local stations for the networks had put on regular programming, too. It seemed to me that most people on the mega election thread were reporting about the networks' coverage though.

You're right about the tax dialog. It's a good thing!

Well, it sounds like you're just going to have to fix yourself up a T.V./computer room, or get a laptop to use in front of the T.V. That's what all the serious news junkies here on FR recommend Ü

jtill, WASS indeed! Any good news on the Loaves and Fishes front?

Can I have a milk shake with that last geometric estimation?

Damn son, ya'all sound way to educated.

reminds of a guy going to Harvard for the first time, and saw a student walking down the sidewalk and asked,"Excuse me sir, can you tell me where good parking is at?"

The harvard student turned to him and said, "At Hahverd, we don't end our prepositions with a predicate."

The guy responded, "OK... can you tell me where a parking space is at, a$$hole?!"
