BTW, congratulations to your upcoming graduation! Is this your youngest?

Yes, he is my youngest. He is 24. He's switched schools once, switched majors 3 times. Finally he settled into Agronomy. He will finish in the spring. He is coming home to farm with us, and at the momment, the plan is he will settle in and gradually assume management of the cropping side of our operation.

Our family has defied all the odds. 3 sons. All three coming home to farm. They are the 7th generation of my family to farm in this County.

In Indiana family farms such as yours are designated with a "Heritage Farm" title and sign.

Sadly one near us has just been sold to the developers....the owner is up in years and his son doesn't farm. It will be a subdivision by next year.

Congratulations on continuing a proud tradition!
