Here's the latest from Tennessee (according to the Bredesean Tennessean):
Governor
Bredesen (D) 20,806
Hilleary (R) 18,618

Senate
Alexander (R) 71,048
Clement (D) 62,473

Looks like the lottery amendment, although leading "no" votes by a few thousand votes, is going to be defeated as it needs more than half of all votes cast for governor. It's not even close.

Just after I posted those numbers, the Tennessean updated the numbers. Van Hilleary (R) is now LEADING Phil Bredesen (D) 116, 367 to 101,269!

Alexander (R) is pulling further ahead in the Senate race.

The lottery numbers changed dramatically, but the "yes" votes are still less than 50% of total votes cast for governor.
