Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
ELECTION DAY!! DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE!!
In 2000, it was decided that Democrats should vote on Wednesday. Not enought took advantage of that offer, so this year, to cut down on lines in polling places, something new will be tried.
Through special arrangement with certain folks in Canada - who, because of the extent of their magnanimity wish to remain nameless - it is now possible to dedicate special polling places just for the use of Democrats.
Democrats, think of this as your own special voting district. Republicans are to vote in the United States - no Republicans whatsover will be allowed to vote in Canada today.
On the other hand, Democrats should take the opportunity to drive north of the border and vote there. No lines - gone will be the complaints of having to wait to vote. No polling monitors - you can vote as many times as you want. You will be able to come home refreshed with the knowledge that you were able to cast thousands, even tens of thousands of votes for your candidate - and no one will so much as hassle you.
So don't delay. The north beckons. If you are a Democrat, hop in your car, drive north, cross the border, and vote. In fact, so good is this program, there are Republicans who will be more than glad - once they have cast their vote in America, because this special offer is not open to them - to drive you and other voting age (in other words, anyone who can recognize a crayon) members of your family (you will have to make your own arrangements to transport dead people) into Canada to your special polling places. (This offer, however, is only one way - you will have to make your own arrangements to return to America).
Democrats - Canada. That's where your vote should be.

New Hamshire looks safe for Sununu Dole has won North Carolina. It is looking more and more like we Pickup of a seat in Georgia. Louisianna is a sure run off. They say the black turn out down south is not nearly what it was in 2000.
GC, I get called out to help my neighbors because a) they know I will b) I'm a small guy, and can get where big guys can't. Just trying to store up riches in heaven... ;>)

So far so good ....looks like my hunch is paying off!!!
My sis is here with me, eating pizza and biting nails! Her hubby worked for Talent all day ringing doorbells, and a local camera crew followed him. We haven't seen him yet on TV! He is going to the Talent victory party, we are waiting to hear from him......(a converted Dem he is!)
The 2 R candidates, both women, won their spots on the OHIO Supreme Court!!!
The Univ. of Akron School of Law now has 2 grads on the Court, altho 1 is one of those Bush nominees held up by Daschle & Co.
Hoping she'll soon be promoted!!
