(No, you see, when I said I felt sorry for him, that was a set-up so I could eventually say 'Stick it to Fritz' -- a literary device, as it were...)

This VNS stuff is weird. I sure hope it means good news for us, bad news for the Rats. With all that's going on, I think most of us could use a little pampering and TLC today/tonight. What better way than having one of your favorites to eat. Enjoy your hamburger. I'll probably go for some chocolate later. We'll get back on the diet, maybe not tomorrow, but the next day, for sure!

lysie,
That's a great graphic, but I cannot take credit for the idea. Somebody else needs to claim it!
Molly,
I think I heard Brit say that yesterday, or did I dream it?
At this point, it could be entirely possible that I'm experiencing "senior moments"!

Hi GC. While everyone else has been talking about and observing the elections, Mrs. Mulliner and I were at the bank filling out forms for the home loan. We're locked in at 5.25% which makes me feel great!
My sister, a life-long Republican who is married to our county's "Mr. Democrat," just told me that her husband's "inside" sources say that here in Tennessee it will be Bredesen (Dem for governor), Alexander (Pubbie for Senate) and Davis (Dem for Congress). I hope he's wrong on two of those, but if Davis wins (and I have to think he probably will), my b-i-l will be there to celebrate. He keeps in close touch with Lincoln Davis so I will be able to say that I'm a step away from a personal friend in Washington.

It's just that I hadn't thought of literary devices since my college days of taking English. I don't think I've used them in a real life situation, I was impressed. :) I'm off, I'll check back in, hopefully we'll have some good news in the next hour or so.

Laser Beef and fried rice tonight for supper. No way I'm cooking on Election night. Order out was the order of the day.

"Take the RED pill, and we see how deep the rabbit hole goes..."
(What's that from???)

I am off to dunk this old body in the shower, want to be neat and clean when we win.
To: Bitwhacker
"Alice through the Looking Glass" of course.
