I'm finally getting here after a hectic day. Told hubby when he left a little while ago that I am a political junkie the rest of the day ...... no more work for me til tomorrow. Now I'm trying to catch up on the thread ...... y'all sure have been talkative today ...... wonder why? Something special must be happening today. ...... *grins*
lysie ~~~ I just had to stop reading and comment on your Smudge Squad graphic. That is hilarious!!! You are becoming quite the graphics creator! ATRW's very own Registered!
*hugs*

So did Oliver enjoy his first voting trip? Just the thought of him at the voting place makes me laugh. We're doing Thai food at my mom's place tonight, I'm going to pick it up in about an hour. The exit polls have me a bit nervous though...

Latest exits have Landrieu failing to make 50%. Get ready for the biggest runoff in US history, Louisiana style. 8^)

Thanks, kay. I think it was A Citizen Reporter who wanted to see jimmy cleaning up voting screens. I just took it from there.

VNS is very very strange.
There was nothing wrong with VNS techology as long as they were not infiltrated by Democrats that turned in fake exit poll numbers and actual results.
In 92 my eldest daughter did a series of polls on the preincts used by VNS in north central Ohio. We compared the exit poll data on election day and the actual counts on election day to our preelection day polls as well. They were all very close and quite accurate.
We had used the same precincts to predict local races. On election day they turned out to be very accurate as well That was what we wanted to konw. Would these bellweather precincts predict our local races too. They did very well.
This is very strange to me. If I had been doing it I would have asked the Republican and Democratic parties to each pick a person to exit poll at each precinct VNS was going to do. Then hire someone from the local newspaper or radio stations to send in the actual vote counts.
Something is really strange. I just don't know what.

Tator could it be they were getting the wrong results back???

Tator .....Bob Grant on WOR is reporting that from the word he is getting it looks like a strong GOP night.......and that could be why CNN pulled the plug on VNS..
Would they be that out in the open with a scam like this??

Finally checking in to get up-to-date.
Early voting, no one there even noticed my "Win With Willkie" button - maybe too young, then errands and back to polls at 1:00 (PST) to check the lists and hound laggards to the polls.
Thank goodness for Republican seniors!! Out of my 4 streets in this senior park only had to contact three and they all thanked me and promised to get there. Will make another poll run about 4 and then pack it in.
So far exit polls, etc., seem very confusing with even more reports than usual of possible fraud. Or maybe we are all sensitized from 2000.
Off to TV, with just half an eye on ATRW. Prayers went up last night at 5 and, of course, for DJ, Bevlar, ISB, and others. Junk food, medicinal adult beverages and NO plans for tomorrow, just in case.

Ever since I got on-line a while ago the whole internet has been slow ...... not just FR. I'm guessing there has
never been this much traffic on it before. At least I'm hoping it's that and not some kind of attack or sabotage. But even non-political sites like the Weather Channel have been slow.
What's with the NC Senate race??? I don't know if I can stand it or not if the 'rat wins!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Everybody PRAY!!!

I'm hoping the exit polls are a repeat of 2000, that is, VNS has them WRONG, called for the dems when the Republicans are winning.
