Good afternoon everyone. Just got back in from voting and running errands. Husband, mother-in-law, and very politically astute 8 year old son (who had his own ballot that he had made) with him voted this morning about 7:15. Could not believe the crowd. I do have to tell you, my mother-in-law is a very sharp 82 year old--but was so excited to vote straight Republican ticket--her first time that she marked her ballot while she was still at the table getting registered, with a pen. So my husband was trying to get her to a booth. In the mean time our son who just usually sits over on the floor and fills his own one out , well for some reason he wanted to go to a booth. So I am trying to get him set down. My husband is trying to get his mother in a booth. We looked like a three ring circus. This is not the way I like to do things, needless to say. In fact after I voted which was straight ticket, I told my husband going out to the pickup I feel like someone in Palm Beach,Florida, I want my ballot back to see if I marked it right. Ha!

What needs to be done is put out 8x10 pictures of the canidates, let them pick the picture they intend to vote for and there, the problem is all fized.

I just saw your disclaimer in the opening...
Good only on November 5, 2002. Not good with any other offer, and may not be exercised by Republicans. Offer applies to any definition of family that may be provided by a card carrying Democrat. For further details, see the back of your Rice Krispies box - they might be there. Certain other restrictions apply. No actual guarantee of voting ability is made or warranted. No ballots will be cast on behalf of the Democrat voter by the Republican. If, in fact, you are a Democrat, and you could not actually vote in Canada, complaints will be taken on November 4, 2002. No Canadians were harmed during the preparation of this offer.]
You have a mean streak....LOL!

BREAKING...MAJOR VOTING IRREGULARITIES SURFACING IN GEORGIA
Systematic problem statewide in Georgia confirmed: When placing vote, and touching the screen for a Republican candidate, the box is incorrectly checked for the Democrat candidate. Another similar situation is occurring when the review screen comes up and previously marked Republican votes are showing as Democrat votes... is happening in lots of different races. Officials fixing problems as they arise when made aware of them...

Gary Hart? Oh my, all of the old dinosaur democrats are oozing out of the woodwork after Mondale and Lautenberg are running for Senate on their old ideas.
To: gulfcoast6
What I really want to know is why all of the irregularities seem to be occurring in favor of the demoflops? Hmmm?

I just checked out DU (as in DUh) a little....and I am amazed at how closely they follow FR!!! It is incredible -- they ridicule FR mercilessly, but follow our every word here ;-)

Your 8 y/o sounds like a very wise young man!!!!! Gotta teach them young.

Ok, what I will want to know is whether the total number of votes cast in Georgia today is equal to the total number of voters who signed the rolls.
I'm concerned that if these machines are displaying incorrectly, whether they are incorrectly writing votes into the firmware of the vote couting chip each time the display comes up.
Again - hmmm....

Ewwww, do you feel like you need a shower now tho?? If we win today, I'm going to put on my NBC suit tomorrow and check out their reaction.
