AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 654) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 5, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/05/2002 4:10:06 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

ELECTION DAY!! DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE!!

In 2000, it was decided that Democrats should vote on Wednesday. Not enought took advantage of that offer, so this year, to cut down on lines in polling places, something new will be tried.

Through special arrangement with certain folks in Canada - who, because of the extent of their magnanimity wish to remain nameless - it is now possible to dedicate special polling places just for the use of Democrats.

Democrats, think of this as your own special voting district. Republicans are to vote in the United States - no Republicans whatsover will be allowed to vote in Canada today.

On the other hand, Democrats should take the opportunity to drive north of the border and vote there. No lines - gone will be the complaints of having to wait to vote. No polling monitors - you can vote as many times as you want. You will be able to come home refreshed with the knowledge that you were able to cast thousands, even tens of thousands of votes for your candidate - and no one will so much as hassle you.

So don't delay. The north beckons. If you are a Democrat, hop in your car, drive north, cross the border, and vote. In fact, so good is this program, there are Republicans who will be more than glad - once they have cast their vote in America, because this special offer is not open to them - to drive you and other voting age (in other words, anyone who can recognize a crayon) members of your family (you will have to make your own arrangements to transport dead people) into Canada to your special polling places. (This offer, however, is only one way - you will have to make your own arrangements to return to America).

Democrats - Canada. That's where your vote should be.

[Good only on November 5, 2002. Not good with any other offer, and may not be exercised by Republicans. Offer applies to any definition of family that may be provided by a card carrying Democrat. For further details, see the back of your Rice Krispies box - they might be there. Certain other restrictions apply. No actual guarantee of voting ability is made or warranted. No ballots will be cast on behalf of the Democrat voter by the Republican. If, in fact, you are a Democrat, and you could not actually vote in Canada, complaints will be taken on November 4, 2002. No Canadians were harmed during the preparation of this offer.]

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

They were interviewing voters as they came out of the polling places, one said she was calling the FBI cause a worker had been rude to her. She was hot, poll worker wrote down the FBI phone # and gave it to her. I had to chuckel

LOL! If I called the FBI every time some worker was rude to me, I'd never hang up the phone!!!

Haven't had the chance to vote yet today (polls weren't open when I come into work @ 0530!) but my supervisor is letting us go an hour early so we can get to our respective polling places well before closing time. And since my voting place is only 1 mile from my house, it makes it easy!

I truly hope that today we have a redux of the 1994 midterms...not only to save our country, but also to see the looks on the faces of the media clowns, the dnc criminals, the 'toons, and lil' tommy and dickie!

Oh I would really like to see Dan Rather break down on the air again.

That would make it all worthwhile!

Good morning! I'm getting ready to go vote, but I wanted to tell you all something real quick. Last night I called my m-i-l in West Virginia to ask her to consider voting for Jay Wolfe (the Freeper running as a long shot for US Senate against Jay Rockefeller). Turns out she was already planning on doing that. But what really got my attention was her comment after that. She said 'I sure hope we can elect enough people so Mr. Bush can get some things done. What's going on now is terrible.' Now, my m-i-l isn't hooked to the Internet, she's getting her news from newspapers and TV. If she's seeing the obstructionism in the Senate, then hopefully many others are as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Good morning everyone...for the first day in 18 days, I am seeing the sun. They say not to stare into the bright light, but I can't help it :)

A senseless observation, but funny how it's bright and sunny for Election Day...hopefully it means something good.

On another note, since people seem to cry about the separation of Church and State, I find it highly amusing that this evening, I will be casting my votes at a church in my precinct. Doesn't seem to separate to me :)

gc - I was wrong. Stand by all...

ELECTION - BREAKING - FLORIDA (go figure)...

FLORIDA TALKSHOW CALLERS CLAIM MACHINES 'BROKEN', VOTED FOR MCBRIDE, MARKED IT AS BUSH

"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'"

So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkmatch, NEIL ROGERS SHOW.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"I'll tell you right now, this election is fixed!" roared Rogers, who has been in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for more than 25 years. "Based on a few early calls, it is going to be a wild, wild time."

"You have not seen anything yet," warned Rogers. "It's not even 10:30 in the morning. This is going to be one of the great disasters of all-time."

Election fiasco brewing in Florida It's going to be a long day.

1-202-514-1412

This is the phone number to report voter fraud to the U.S. Justice Dept. remember you call this number only if you are VERY SERIOUS about seeing something funny..

Again, the number to call to report voter fraud to the justice department of the U.S. is 202-514-1412.

Good morning everyone!

Been trying to follow the happenings regularly... praying for each of you as the needs are posted.

DJ, Bev, isb and Bit... especially remembering you at this time. Lots of others as well, just because I don't mention your name here doesn't mean you are not being prayed for. It is nice to see so many who are sharing their specific needs.

kay, MP... was praying at 5pm last evening. God hears each of us, wherever we are. HE is the One who puts people in power, sets some up, takes some down, in order that HIS purposes will be fulfilled. Am praying that He will overrule in the hearts of men and women today in order that the righteous will prevail.

Jemian... thinking of and praying for you and yours.

MM, CT and others... have been enjoying your expressed wisdom on political matters. Please keep on keeping on, to keep us well informed, educated, etc.

OhioW... enjoyed your comments about the great time with GWB. Hope you got pictures of all that. Something for posterity.

Lady Jo... welcome!

Released yesterday was the following "generic" USA Today poll:

The question was to the party preference of people voting for the house.

Results:

Republican: 51
Demoflop: 44

BTW - this is the same margin that existed in a USA Today poll just before the 1994 sweep by the GOP.

This could be a good day.

Another Poll Points to GOP Sweep

Chair....correct me if I am wrong....but right about now exit polls should be making there way into political parties from early voting....true?

I read that Carter knew he would lose to Reagan early in the day back in 1980 from the trends in early voting.

So I think we all need to look for people's reactions today while watching TV.
