So exciting! One more day! Just wanted to tell you:
I'll be working the phones again tonight from 6-9. Call me later if you have any energy left.
To: McLynnan
I have received 5 phone calls in the past 2 days (one was GW, one was Rick Perry, David Dewhurst, and 2 others) with the recorded message to get out the vote.I live in one of the most conservative districts in the country, so they must really feel that every vote counts this year.

I think it's a fine idea. You'll add some beauty to that corner, especially if you are wearing shorts, with those gorgeous legs of yours. Having you holding a campaign sign, just might even convince fence-sitters to vote republican!
That HBO special, My Journey's with George, is on Nov.5th at 9:30 - 11:00 eastern. So if you find your wanting to throw things at the talking heads, switch over to HBO for a documentary that will put a smile on you face.
It's not being running later tonight - I'll keep my eyes open and try to let everyone know when it runs next if somebody misses.

Your candidate would probably give you a big SMOOCH for some stylish pubbie sign waving, although I'm not convinced that it does any good - I'd love to hear other's thoughts on the effectiveness of this practice, especially since my main candidate here has asked me to do so and the weather sucks.

Gams notwithstanding, I'll forego the shorts, as it's a damp 40 degrees here. Considering that registered Dems outnumber Pubbies by over three to one in my county, I figure it probably couldn't hurt to wave a sign at passing motorists.
To: mountaineer
Brrrrrrr! Pants definitely.
Not it won't hurt, although with all the dems you live with, you might get alot one finger salutes and other grotesque gestures.
But I'll bet you've got a tough skin! Go Gettem!

Thanks for the link. I left you a post overthere.
How could we forget you?! We did miss you, so don't be such a stranger!

Thank you, HLL, for all them absentee ballots you sent my way.The rubber stamp voting machine worked overtime this weekend;some ballots jammed, and the machine began to smoke, but it has the authenticity that all Dem ballot examiners ie cheaters, require, and I got them sent out UPS, as per your instructions.Just to be sure, you're in Michigan's 12th District and they are to be mailed to Kalamazoo???
To: mountaineer
Doesn't that depend on you're campaign sign??? ;-)
To: BigWaveBetty
PIAPS with her pie-hole wide open, proudly wearing yellow crusty. Sheesh.

I just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow. I didn't even know that you were running until BWB posted it a few days ago. You are in my prayers! =)
To: Aggie Mama
Thanks for your prayers, I need them. I have been doing radio interviews all day. I just did one from Nashville!
Tonight is a rally and then tomorrow is the big day. I hope it all comes out well. We need to retake the Senate.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Congratulations HLL, success to you.
You think this is why there were some that didn't want women to vote?

"And I hope that someday your children and grandchildren will tell of the time that a certain president came to town at the end of a long journey and asked their parents and grandparents to join him in setting America on the course to the new millennium -- and that a century of peace, prosperity, opportunity, and hope followed. So, if I could ask you just one last time: Tomorrow, when mountains greet the dawn, would you go out there and win one for the Gipper?" --Ronald Reagan

Hey, I saw the PRES today - of course it was from a bit of a distance - we were at St. Louis airport together. His plane, mighty pretty, was parked a wee bit away from mine - in fact from everyone's. Saw the motorcade - very exciting.
I've had a very Republican feeling all day today. Finally got to DC tonight. I will hit the ground running tomorrow and won't stop 'til late tomorrow night so if some of you guys can periodically post returns, I'll sure appreciate when I get in tomorrow night.
HLL - best of luck (your voice holding up?). I know you will throw your victory party in Rome or Paris.
IG - best of luck - wish I was gonna be at the victory party at your house tomorrow night - tip a glass for me.
Let's all pray hard for Republican wins in the Senate tomorrow. Amen!

Courageous idea. John Adams would have done it. His wife would have done it. You will do it - I will pray for you. (Think of it as less scary than Moot Court competition)
