Dean Barkley is now the interim senator from Minnesota. Jesse Ventura just announced this on FOX. I don't know anything about Dean Barkley. Do you, Tiger?

I think I'll wait to grow mine out, too. There's too much gardening and other stuff going on. Clippers are far superior to an emerory board. LOL!

My toenails still look good though.

Do you ever sleep???????/

The supercilious Mayor Bloominidiot of NYC apparently has no clue about real New Yorkers. At least Councillman Oddo he enough sense to admit he's staying out of local bars because he doesn't want to run into smokers angry of his position of pushing Bloomindope's smoking ban.

Staten Island: Where there's smoke, there's political fire

I'm confused .....

What does the road going up have to do with your furniture being moved?

Are you waiting for it to start sliding downhill back into the living room the next either SoCal's San Andres slips, (or Rockfishy's friendly, neighborhood local little volcano explodes)?

I think I used the wrong metaphor. I do that all the time. Poor Cyber doesn't know what I'm talking about. Then he'll correct the metaphor, "Uhh, Miss Slippy, did you mean to say this?"

What I meant was: The worst part is over. The four weeks of a mess is over. The tile will be put in this week, and things can get back to normal.

xsmommy, it's the day after election day I look forward to.

Spent Saturday door-dropping campaign literature (in precincts that don't have a PCO - sheesh!). Had to run out early yesterday morning to pick up the voting machines before church (that's the only time we could get them) -- barely made it to church on time (the goodwife's the organist, I assist the minister). Spent Sunday afternoon doing more door-drops. Got my signs in the car for waving tonight.. and tomorrow morning... and tomorrow night... while the goodwife has to be at the polling station at 6 AM tomorrow to set up (for about 5 or 6 precincts), and she won't get home until 10PM to midnight.

And all this while learning that our local candidates have been outspent 2:1 by the Democrats... I did not sleep well last night.

Welll, then love, you need to say "We are over the hump now....

OR, "It's all downhill from here on (and out the front door)."

Though hobbey and xsex will be severely disappointed that they missed a good hump in the road......

(They were hmmmmmning each other weekend ya know...)

Dain, you're dead! And my slip size is not an 18. More like a 10.

you and hobbes both appear to have a very active dream life, Robt. there is SOME CHANCE he would get within a zipcode of me. the only thing less likely is the dearly departed OPH making time!

You're right ...

You and hobby WEREN'T "hmmmmmmmning" each other weekend in the middle of slippy's hump in the road ..

It was definitely more like an electrically-powered "buzzzzzzzzzing" sound. Sort of muffled though. (Definitely couldn't hear it clearly - for whatever reason.)

At least until the batteries wore out.
