I learned today that my friend, P7M13, Len Baker of Denver, Colorado, died last Thursday in an automobile accident.
He was an amazing man - his profile page was simple, stating:
Texas Aggie, Class of 1976, Graduated 4 years late, Ag Ed Major, Rode the horse, Wore the boots
He was a devout Christian, worked countless hours in his Church, a devoted father and a good friend.
He reminded me constantly to see things from the point of view of others, and I will miss him more than I can express.

Us Ags are all on a separate plain. We don't need a body to share it.

Your welcome FRiend. I could tell you and he had communicated a lot, and I'm sure you are in horrible shock at his loss. I learned more about him through you.. he was fun, and witty. He will be missed. I'm so sorry for his family and FRiends, FRiends like you :o).. such a sad loss.
Just sad,.. but one person mentioned him not really dying.. but that death is just another aspect of "living". As a Christian, I believe that with all my heart and soul.
Sounds like this wonderful man is now "living" amongst the angels.
God Bless him!! Again, I'm so sorry.

Your very welcome...It was the first post in my message box from salvation...I never met him or talked to him..but it brings it home for me...I lost my sister at a young age of 28...when she died suddenly I was worried sick about the state of her soul...young, single, living the life...anyway I prayed and prayed and ask God to please give me a sign He had her and she was alright...I asked for a sign of white roses. The following Sunday at Mass, the church was crowded I was hardly able to see past the people in front of me, but my attention kept being drawn forward towards the front..when all of sudden I saw a huge beautiful bouqet of long stem "White" Roses...near St. Joseph...I was staring at the roses, remembering what I asked and asking myself "Is the sign I asked for, are these from God? Next a song begins...Amazing Grace...this brings tears to me...because that is the song that was played at her funeral Mass...I cried throughout the whole song...LOL...I know the pain the family is suffering...but they will be ok...and your friend whom I've never met will be looking after them...that I know :) Good-night Cowboy...
