xsteen has asked that i inquire amongst my math nerd friends, to see if anyone can help her with this challenge problem in math.
she needs to show the work, not just the answer.
the question is....
2 to the 5028 power (i can't make it small and up at the upper right hand corner like real math nerds can) ends in what digit? [the teacher said don't use a computer, there is a pattern...]
ok, math nerds, who has the right stuff?

ok, math nerds, who has the right stuff? Should have asked the Econgeeks the answer is 6
No calculator or computer necessary
To: xsmommy
2^5028 ends in 6
2^1 = 2
2^2 = 4
2^3 = 8
2^4 = 16 then the pattern repeats.
5028 = 1257 repetitions of 4. hence 6.

That would be hillarious, of course most of the kids won't get the joke.

they really don't discuss politics in algebra, but xsteen figured her for a dem because she loves saving Mother Earth etc. /gag

The only reason the northeast has Republicans at all is there are people who don't want to be in the same party as their hired help.
darn country club types
