The Man With The Golden Gun, I like this film because it transplants one of my favorite Western Film formulas(the fastest gun versus the other fastest gun) into the Spy genre. Also the theme song gets stuck in my head for days.
Also the theme song gets stuck in my head for days. MWaGG is the best theme song. Most beautiful theme song is probably YOLT, though it's hard to believe it's sung by the same person that sang "These boots are made for walking".
BTW, one of the things I used to like about Bond opening-title sequences is that they would usually show the title of the movie at the same time as it was first sung. Exceptions included:
- Doctor No, From Russia With Love, On Her Magesty's Secret Service (no sung opening theme)
- The Spy Who Loved Me (the title appears late in the verse)
- Octopussy (title does not occur at all in theme song)
- Later Bond Films (I think any after Roger Moore quit the series): I guess they didn't like the formula anymore.
BTW, FRWL is probably the best Bond film of all time. Interesting how it seems so much "fresher" than the newest ones.
