Good Morning! Great news about the daily thread designation. Does this mean we will need to post a new thread each day?

I dunno! We'll have to ask the expert.

Hey expert aka HLL, what say you?

If we do I'm going to need some help!

Must run for now and get busy around here. I spent much of the weekend floating in the pool. The weather was absolutely gorgeous here over the weekend. For a change! :-)

There was a question on another thread about re-registration, and I have a question. Here's what I posted, and I hope someone knows the answer:

I've been trying to get the straight story on this for years. I was registered I think as a dem -- I didn't realize years ago that party registration was determined by which ballot you choose in the primaries-- even though I voted pretty much half and half over the years till the early 90s (and now I will never vote for a dem again in my life, of course).

I've tried twice to re-register as a Republican, but I've gotten the run-around when I try to do this.

They tell me that it doesn't matter how I'm registered. I tried to switch at my city hall, and I called the League of Women Voters to get information on this (before I found out what a lib group they are).

Anyone know whether it really doesn't matter how you're registered (of course I don't believe anything they tell me) and why I shouldn't be able to switch if I want to? I should add I live in a very gore-ish part of the world.
