Is Chelsea Clinton joining the family business? We hear she's thinking about law school - maybe even Yale, where her mom and dad met.
The former First Daughter and Oxford student has begun studying for the LSATs, says a source. Another Clinton confidant would say only, "She hasn't decided on anything. She's keeping her options open."
Chelsea has decided not to do a cameo on the British sitcom "Absolutely Fabulous," according to a well-placed source. The show's producers had been wooing her for a scene where she'd try to get herself photographed for a fashion mag.

The family business? It sure isn't law.

Hey Toots! I didn't realize it was a finger misinformation job. I thought you might have even another university that beat the heck outta someone. You guys did all of us proud yesterday. I'm particularly fond of the ISU win. ISU has really improved its athletics to national championship level - its women's bball team has been really jammin' the past two years.
Congrats to the great state of Iowa.

Oh, and I want to congratulate you on the absolutely awesome kids you select into the veterinary school at Iowa State. I was through there a couple of years ago and simply dropped in on the vet school on a Sunday. I met a student in the parking lot and she invited me in and gave me a tour. What a wonderful kid. The tour was great fun and I left being impressed with the program and its students.
I had practiced with a number of Iowa State grads in MPLS and have always been impressed with their clinical knowledge and skills. You have a lot to be proud of in your state.

Dear T,
You impress me every day. I am so glad you are at peace and that you know your mom will be with the Lord. We'll keep praying for you and for her. You are a very dear heart and I'm proud to know you. -- E

Yeah, baby - I've got your lovelife right here.

Back to wearing the bracelet, I see. And is that some scalp peeking through that coif?

Oh, teacup. I'm so very sorry for the pain that you and your family are going through right now. All of you are in my prayers and your mother, especially.
To: lodwick
Here, also, is a
thread on the latest in the Levy case.

My neice is finishing up her work for a DVM at Ia State, as we speak. Well not actually this very minute,,, I imagine right now she has ice on her head and has the lights down low. She is a huge football fan and I would expect she celebrated the victory.
To: Iowa Granny
Hey, baby! Kudos to your niece and I say that in a whisper, given her likely state this AM. Didn't you mention that she is doing an internship with a corporate entity?
It's going to be a long season for those of us here in your neighbor state - our football team has a fighting chance against Northwestern and Indiana. Oh well, there's always next year.
As a Cubs fan, I'm perpetually focused on "next year." Hopefully those wonderful Bears will take it to the Bills today. And if not, there's always "next year!"

E: Perpetual Cubs fans here. Yesterday's success will keep us all in the clouds regardless of what happens today.

Speaking in exercises in futility (e.g., rooting for the Cubs), there's a Steelers game on, and I must watch the hopelessly inept Kordell Stewart throw away another one.
The Euros won the Ryder Cup, but kudos to Stewart in his first appearance for the U.S. team.
To: mountaineer
Maybe Cordell will have a good day. My cowboys are even up on St. Louis - who knew? I'm sure it will change in the end, but I can't help pulling for my boys in silver and blue.
Dallas was a fine team under Landry, and Johnson, but during the ownership of the hick from Arkansas, they have been as pathetic as their owner since he drove Johnson out. Jerry Jones (cowboys owner) is a staunch Clinton-backer -- oohhhh that sounds a bit kinky, doesn't it?!

Thanks for that JJ/'toon info - the final nail to drive in my cowboy's coffin.
Good-bye losers. Thanks for the memories. ;-)

I know so very little about pro football, I will not embarass myself by trying to discuss it.
I just stopped thru to refresh the thread, so I'm off to continue work on my projects.
To: Endeavor
Yuck, not a fan of Jerry Jones, either. Well, Kordell tried mightily to lose this one and would have succeeded, but he was replaced by Tommy Maddox, who marched the Stillers "dahn the fild" and they won in overtime.
