Outstanding reply - I would not wish to be 19 again however. ;-)

Oh no. I think you misunderstood me. I don't wish to be 19 again. I would like that flat stomach at my current age. I'm rather fond of those protruding hipbones, also.
To: lodwick
Are those Ilona Rich's kids in the bottom left hand corner?
To: Teacup
Teacup, you and your family are in my prayers. Our family is going through a similar situation as my Mama is likely in the final stage of Alzheimer's, and has developed some severe physical problems over the last few weeks. She's in the hospital right now, and we don't know how much longer she'll be with us.
We are praying for her to have a peaceful death and sooner rather than later because she's so frustrated with her condition and so depressed. She's 83, so she's lived a long and full life, raised 8 kids, and is one of the most helpful and giving people I've even known. I know where she's going when she leaves this world, and I have no 'unfinished business' as far as our relationship goes, so I don't feel like she needs to stay here any longer for MY benefit. So like you, I'm just waiting for the call at this point.

Visibly Different: Coping with Disfigurement." If he hadn't been so hell bent to look like Diana Ross that he would subject himself to so much plastic surgery, he wouldn't be disfigured!

A long day. Ryder Cup came on at 5:30AM local time. I had to get up...and then wished I'd just stayed in bed. They didn't play well, but they were still cute. Euros deserved to win; they played great. I wonder if our guys will still go to the WH to see George & Laura?
Then our little 5-month-old angel came and stayed with me for the rest of the day. Her mommy was having her girl group for lunch and I was more than happy to keep the baby. So after the disastrous Ryder Cup, I spent the rest of the day singing Mockingbird and Itsy Bitsy Spider. I love it!

Happy Day! The Trenton New Jersey Courier Post is reporting that latest polls show Torricelli trailing by 13 points.
Awwwwwwww. I guess Little Tommy's visit up there didn't help his standing much.

Well, I'm on a roll here. This is unbelievable (literally!). It seems the bent one has finally put up a website for his lie-brary.
I went in and the first option is called "Legacy" (can you believe that?).
And then...the first entry under legacy was a picture of Chelsea sitting at the desk in the oval office looking at a computer with a young male WH aide...here's the caption:
Late one afternoon, Chelsea, home for Christmas from Stanford University, brought a few friends by the Oval Office to visit with the President. I had been trying for weeks to get the Oval Office laptop up and running. Bewilderedly, I looked on as Chelsea and her friends proceeded to school both the President and me on how technology really works."
Oh sure. They're so transparent.

Why quit now?
If this ever made it to The Guild, I didn't see it. But get ready. You're really, really not going to believe this little beauty.
From US News & World Report:
Hallibacon, the corporate crime-fighting pig,

is the brainchild of the Iowa Democratic Party as part of the national party's effort to attack Vice President Dick Cheney's prior life as CEO of troubled Halliburton.
Oh, those crazy Dims!

as part of the national party's effort to attack Vice President Dick Cheney's prior life as CEO of troubled Halliburton.Well they struck out trying to make Dubya look bad, so I guess they think that need to try Cheney. From what I've read, the company was doing fine while he was there, and after he left. I don't know what they expect to try to dig up, but methinks they're going to strike out again. Far be it from me to get in their way!

Rush was right. He always says the libs are funniest when they're out of power or in danger of being so. They must be awfully scared these days! LOL!

They must be awfully scared these days! LOL!Well just think how FRUSTRATED they must be. They have been throwing stuff at Dubya since day one and nothing is sticking! I remember how frustrating it was to see x42's poll numbers when everyone KNEW the things he'd done! But his BEST numbers haven't come close to Dubya's WORST, so we can take some comfort in that!

Good Morning. Terrifying news this morning in Iowa about a young man who has died from Rabies. They have no idea how he contracted it, but are suspecting bats.
To: SuziQ
SuziQ, I just wanted to let you know that you and you family will be in my prayers as well. My mom's mom died of Alzheimer's, and it truly was the long goodbye. She too, believed so strongly, so her passing, although difficult for my family, was a release and homecoming for her.
To: Iowa Granny; *The GUILD
Sounds terrible IG. If he wasn't bitten could he get it from bat guano?

Oh SuziQ I am so sorry to learn about your mother. My mom is 81. I too have clean the slate with regards to my mom and I. We made peace with all our differences many years ago. When mom became a Born Again Catholic Christian, our relationship took off.
Last week my sibblings and I were talking about the different roles we each played in her life. I was proud to say, "I was the one mom would call to talk about Jesus and pray." The sibblings all said, "She never did that with us." Praise the Lord, He gave me that role. God is good.
I will keep your family in my prayers too.

" Praise the Lord, He gave me that role. God is good. Mama has always been a faithful Catholic. She always knew God would provide for our family, and He always did! She's ready to go Home to Him and to be with my Daddy who died 21 yrs. ago. She's missed him every day since then.
