In my research on this Owens is the name that keeps cropping up.

However; My research has taken me into another avenue all together and I just thought I would bring it up. (It does not have to do with any of the Smart family or Owen family, I dont want anyone jumping to conclusions on that.) My research has to do with the Mine in which noone believes me about, but I am finding that more than likely Kingstons owned that Silver Mine.

My belief is this:
If Elizabeth is Dead she is in a mine.

If Elizabeth is Alive, Where is she? This is a big question because no one has seen her and there was no ransom note that we know of. I believe she is with someone who regarded her as a special angel and wanted her for his own. Making her his wife would make this happen for him.

I have found in reading that the Kingston Clan believe in In Bred wifes-meaning they have to keep there blood pure for the line of Kingston. It stated that is why they marry within their own family. If you are part of the polygamy group and not a Kingston it is stated that wifes are hard to find. The kingstons reside in Colorado. ONCE AGAIN I AM NOT BLAMING THE KINGSTONS FOR ELIZABETHS DISAPPEARANCE.

I am wondering about persons who want to be apart of the Kingstons but dont really live by their laws. I found an article and this is what it states:

Thompson and Palmer are deeply concerned about minor children who have been shipped across the border to become wives of men old enough to be their fathers. They say at least 45 teenage girls have been sent to Canada to marry polygamist men. Some 15 Canadian girls have likewise been sent in the other direction to marry U.S. men. One girl was 13 the rest were 14 to 16. ''No one ever looks at what happens to the women, they never see the heartache or the inward soul of the women who are dragged into it,'' said David Leavitt, a Utah attorney who successfully prosecuted polygamist Thomas Green, whose fifth wife was also his 13-year-old step-daughter.

ALL of these cases involved girls who were raised in the sects. The only "kidnappings" have been of girls who grew up in the sect and tried to run away, and those "kidnappings" were done with the consent of the girls' fathers (and usually of their mothers as well, though their vote wouldn't count for much in these groups).
