Draft of manifesto to help destroy National Council of Churches

The NCC is an obsolete entity that has no place in the diverse religious and spiritual landscape of twenty first century America; especially in an America that is under attack from external as well as internal enemies out to destroy the Union, the American way of life, and all that we hold sacred and dear. It is no secret that the NCC's sympathies and support usually slant towards individuals, groups, movements, and ideas that are anathema to American concepts of democracy, and religious freedom. Throughout its different manifestations, the NCC has always existed as a subversive political anti American organization rather than the religious body it pretends to be. Abuses of the NCC 1. Currently involved in intensive "Action Days on Iraq" campaign to stop the United States from taking military action against Iraq in order to strengthen the security of the American people. 2. Practicing unpatriotic, un-American, blame America first attitudes without acknowledging the heinous human rights abuses carried out by the third world despots they have supported. 3. Championing secular, atheist, liberation theology, over traditional religious teachings. 4. Ignores human rights abuses worldwide & in nations where the NCC is heavily involved. Cuba for example. 5. Coddling and sympathizing with brutal dictatorships in Iraq, Cuba, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Sudan, China, various terrorist groups like the PLO, and historically with the late Soviet Block, North Vietnam, and the Nicaraguan Sandanistas. 6. Ignored and belittled dissidents, oppositionists, human rights activists opposed to tyranny in the aforementioned nations. 7. Worked on behalf of the Cuban dictatorship and on orders of Fidel Castro, the Clinton administration, Janet Reno, INS, and various business interests like Archer Daniels Midland to return Elian Gonzalez to Cuba. 8. Irresponsible financial mismanagement of Church funds and resources. Hundred Thousands spent on an unnecessary anniversary bash for the NCC, and money for private jet during Elian Gonzalez incident instead of directing monies to the needy. 9. Downplaying, revising, and perverting teachings from both the Old and New Testaments in order to confuse, change, and eventually destroy the Christian church. 10. Lying and exaggerating about Black Church burnings in the American South. A call to action:

These are suggestions that can very well destroy the NCC if church congregations decide to stand up and say no to any more NCC hypocrisy and treasonous behavior. 1. Stop donations and monetary support to the NCC and it's various organs. 2. Educate church congregations on the harmful nature of the NCC. Urge them to take peaceful, non violent, but creative actions in the form of protests, e-mail campaigns, press releases, and withholding of donated funds. 3. Publicly expose the NCC, and it's past and present leaders to hold them accountable as accomplices for human rights abuses in nations where the NCC has been involved. 4. Infiltrate the NCC if possible to destroy or to take it over from within. This can be done on a local and national level. 5. Start an intense public movement to disband the NCC.

Contact your Senator. It matters that you express your opinion. Make a phone call. Send a fax or e-mail." He spoke at a "legislative breakfast" sponsored by the United Church of Christ. The NCC is among organizers of an intensive "season of peacemaking" that started Monday and is encouraging people of faith to let their elected representatives know of their opposition to U.S. unilateral, preemptive military action to unseat Saddam Hussein.

About the most damning thing you can say about the NCC is that they are part of the World Council of Churches which is even more evil. Like most Leftist organizations, they appear to have more support than they actually do. By getting large, mainline denominations in the NCC - and most American denominations are members - it appears that most Christians in America are part of it. But in most cases it seems to be a case of having very liberal denomination leaders while at the congregation level there's little or no support for their positions.
