My fear as well. Can't remember who brought this up, but the speech sounded like it had McAwful all over it. Which of course means clintoon and the she beast (Rush pointed that part out)... so perhaps they're setting him up to crash and burn so hilly can run in '04?

Down here in FL the dems are PO'd at bore because he never even bothered to call anyone in the party to thank them for "all their hard work" during the 2000 election hi-jacking. "To hell with him", I believe was the quote.

Hmmmm. I seldom disagree with you, but I think Gore was flying on his own. This speech was sooooo much the personification of Al Gore: the preening condescention, the self-deception (lies), and...most of all...the all-consuming hatred of GWB and all things conservative. His hatred has eaten up what few sensible brain cells he ever had, leaving behind only those most-unattractive elements of "The Real Al Gore" (TRAG).

The rock bottom essence of TRAG has always been his superiority...his assumption that power is his birthright. It leads him to look down on others, whether it be Bill Clinton or us mere mortals. I don't think he is even aware of what a comic character he is...it doesn't fit with his self-perception.
