Here's another one. The NY Times is reporting the fines total $243,000. AP reports them as $750,000. What gives? Coincidence that this news is reported late Friday, early Saturday?

While it is nice they were fined, the current level of fines discourages behavior not a wit.

It is roughly receiving a "delay of game" penalty. One would rather not get flagged, but it is rarely a difficult thing to overcome.
