Yes, I did. Our little group wandered into a Korean resturant that had no english on the menu, except the word "MENU". LOL! The lady that ran the resturant took care of us, and we were well fed, even if we didn't always know what, exactly, we were eating.
When Trill gets up, I'll see about posting some pictures.

Sudanese man held in N.C. in anti-terrorism probe
09/20/2002
By JEFF SONIER / 6NEWS and the Associated PressA 30-year-old Sudanese pilot is being held in a Winston-Salem, N.C. jail on immigration charges as investigators try to determine if he is an al-Qaida operative and a possible terrorist threat.
Mekki Hamed Mekki works as a cab driver in Greensboro, but federal authorities detained him Friday, accusing him of making false statements while applying for a U.S. visa.
Mekki was a pilot in the Sudan, the same country where Osama bin Laden was once based. Federal authorities are looking into why Mekki had "an interest in U.S. aviation," according to 6NEWS sources.
The sources won't say if he is the same man who the Washington Times reported is tied to the al-Qaida terror network.
The Associated Press reported Friday night that investigators are trying to learn if Mekki was planning to fly an airplane into an American target, possibly the White House.
But 6NEWS sources in Charlotte and Washington, D.C. said Friday night that it is too soon to say if Mekki has terrorist ties or not, and that his intentions are unknown at this time.
Two government officials who requested anonymity told the Associated Press that federal authorities believe he is linked to bin Laden's terrorist group and are investigating the possibility that he may have been plotting to use a plane as a weapon.
Mekki is scheduled to appear in court Monday to answer to the immigration fraud charges.
Meanwhile, several other Sudanese citizens are being held in an undisclosed locations while federal authorities try to determine whether they are linked to the pilot.
"There is a lot of uncertainty about this case. We're trying to sort it out," one of the officials said.
I hope life has returned to some sense of normalcy for you Raven.
Ah kimchee. Life is good when you have a Budweiser and a jar of kimchee. The only problem is the First lady makes me sleep on the couch. 8^(

I think there are going to be several other FReepers there, too ........ :-)
Right now the radar is looking like the very weak remnants of the storm system are coming our way ...... I hope they clear on through pretty quickly. We need the rain badly but ......
Nope, not quite, but some of the stuff stared at us from the plate, and the ladies weren't that thrilled about that. LOL!

I was personally, and specifically asked by the senior NCO we were travelling with, to lay off the kimchee a couple of days before the flight. Wonder why? LOL!

Mozie... Did you misspell that?!!!
Shouldn't there be a CK in there?
The stand is plenty big... kinda like a Holiday Inn, so there's no worry about going anywhere.
5 does came up behind me earlier that day. I could have ridden them. We have a Quality deer management program on the land that my brother owns, so we only look for the bigger bucks to bag.
A few years ago I actually watched a chickadee land on my boot. biggest thing I saw that day.

Boy... does that sound midwestern.
