We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Chancellor Schroder apologized to the US for the Hitler comparison. No word as to whether the German minister who made the remarks lost her job.
Tornadoes raked across Indiana yesterday afternoon as part of a severe weather front moving eastward.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

#393...kayak, it will not surprise you to know that hubbybear takes several days BEFORE he can officially be called 'relaxing'.....
...the stress of getting ready, and his cold, plus the driving .....combined in a 'I'm not on vacation yet' kind of mood.
...He started relaxing...really....once we crossed over to Yarmouth by ferry.
Later told me he was worried about terrorists (it was 9/11)

G'night dear folks......Guennie has jetlag :))

No. No MSG
in it. It does have MSG all over the outside, and it was deep fried in peanut oil, and I sneezed as I loaded the fryer. Any other questions?
I'll be fine. Most questions involve what is on the menu. And I actually do read the menus.
What is El Gato Tartar?

El Gato Tartar --> Raw Cat a la Lawn Mower!!!
To: Bitwhacker
El Gato Tartar --> Raw Cat a la Lawn Mower!!!First, I have to ask, and this is why I'm changing careers: "-->" does that mean "an object of" or "a function of" or "pass this data to that routine"? And is Raw Cat local or global in scope (regardless of encounters with the lawn mower);>)
Seriously. Is that served with or without the raw egg yolk in the slight depression in the top of the patty?

It means it is an obsolete C++ function from the old windows library Dll (damned linked library). Anders Hejlsburg ( the distingushed MS engineer) has outlawed --> in C#.
Anders has brought civility to Micorsoft and its languages. Pointing is no longer allowed in managed VB or C#. It is very difficult in managed C++. VARPTR doesnt in managed Basic code.
If you point you will be looked down upon except for those that are into UNIX. But UNIX must be spoken with a high voice for it is a castrated MULTICS. See Kernnigan & Richee 1972. Did I mention P.J. Plaugher?
Perhaps the cat has nothing left to pointwith either after it argued with the lawn mower. And perhapst that is the point.

The FReepers we met yesterday at the balloon rally were abner and victim of circumstance (who own the flag balloon) as well as Taxman (from the DC area) and dixie sass from SC. We had a great time in spite of the weather .... and the car, truck, and trailer they have for the balloon are AWESOME! I'll see if I can send some pics to someone tomorrow to post ....... and if anyone would like to check out the web site, there are some videos of the ballon being inflated and taking flight.
I am determined to see that thing in flight one day ..... it is just so totally AWESOME even in pictures!

The whole Torch situation makes me smile. The Senate dems thought they were being soooo clever in their slap on the hand punishment of the Torch, so that the dems could keep control of the Senate. And now they're probably going to lose the Senate anyway. I think the same thing with x42, if the dems would have condemned him, and kicked him out of office, Gore would probably be prez right now. Interesting how things work out isn't it?

Hi! It's good to see words from you again. I hope everything is going well with you. How is your nephew?
I need to call it a night. God bless us all. Each, and every one.

Ya know, after the last 8 months, even I am sick of techno-geek speak, and that is saying something...
Maybe I can be a sailing instructor in Annapolis...or the Virgin Islands...Yeah, that's the ticket!!!!
All cats, raw or otherwise, are local, because they are too damned independent and lazy to actually give a kitty litter about anyone else...
Don't know about the egg, though...gotta do more research...
