Welcome home /john. Read your and others posts about kimchee. I love cucumber kimchee, fresh. I'm not too enamored with the cabbage, fermented though. In Korea, I learned after kimchee or any other highly garliced food, a glass of parsley tea rid the odor, so the "eater" was acceptable in "good" company. Did you manage to pick up some good recipes? I used to order a bowl of "chili" beef. It's very spicy, with rice on the side and a bowl of garlic marinated for a week or so in soy sauce. Yum.

Neets, you are a fantastic cook. I'm going to copy that recipe, as soon as I get this machine straighted out. Have to upgrade it.

/john, take good care of yourself. Hot toddy and a hot bath is a good start, then lots of liquids. I use apple cider vinegar in boiling water, put a towel over the head and breathe through the nose and every once in a while through the mouth. It burns the nose a bit, but gets rid of a sore throat and sniffles.

I aggree with your comments about Israel, Common-who-is-not-Tator ... there is a silent partnership which exists ... as evidenced by their takng out Iraq's nuclear plant back in the early 90s ... I do not think for a moment that was a flash of independent thought on their part ... they had our support ... our OK ... and our help.

Money buys lots of things ... some of them go ka-boom.

Plus .. it has been way too long since I have told you how very much I appreciate your thinking ...
