Good job with your sons - sound enough advice on all counts.
It's good to hear you didn't break into the soul-mate crap that we hear so much of from the left coast. Of course they are only soul-mates until they find a younger or hotter or wealthier person to noodle.
I should start gathering data for my man to do last year's tax return - but that holds little allure. ;-)
