Hey, you know, another thing I think of, when I think of those who are right in Utah, in or near SLC--I think of the local police and their connections. In the Chandra case, either the D.C. chief, or his assistant, once made this comment: "The strange thing about the Levy case is, there was no street talk. Our people tried to tap into the usual street talk that occurs after a crime, but...nothing." That's not the exact words, but that's definitely the gist of what was said. The implication was, of course, that if there was no street talk, then perhaps the "usual suspects" (known criminals) were not responsible for the crime.
So I wonder if the police have heard any "street talk" about the Smart abduction?
