So then what are we doing discussing his columns as though what he said were some sort of incontrovertible fact? The point brought up by Scaredkat, about someone not being able to say too much about the mood/lifestyle in a city after being gone 10+ years, is valid. Many things can change in that time.
So we now know the opinion of an LDS easterner, or resident of Toronto, or wherever, about the Smart case. One more opinion to add to the list of opinions we have here. What we sadly lack, when it comes to this case, are FACTS.
