This is very interesting to me! I have been looking for something like this on the side.
The reason for this is when I was talking to a Sheriff I kept asking him, "are you sure you have the right shoes" (they were showing me a different copy of a pair of shoes.) I said, "there is something really wrong here", because I thought they had said a different kind of shoes at first and the shoe print of these shoes resembled the footprints I found.

Scaredkat, I do remember that in one of your earlier posts, you talked about Size 8 footprints near that mine.

As for the brand of shoes that Elizabeth supposedly took, I'd always heard they were Ralph Lauren. Now, someone said Polo, didn't they? But I think Ralph Lauren IS Polo...?

I'm sure you know that they have a picture of the type of shoes they say she took, on the official Elizabeth Smart website. Of course, they don't show the treads on the shoes, they just show the color and style.

Besides, I'd think that any set of female footprints, next to a set of male footprints, would have been of interest. I know you said the police smudged over the whole thing, and the tire tracks, too. Did you take any pictures of the tracks b/f they ruined it?
