it's very comforting to know that you guys don't mind me venting here.

I keep saying that FR is a whole lot cheaper than therapy and medications ...... it's a good place to vent about all kinds of things ..... personal as well as political. I know this place has helped me keep my sanity over the last few years ......

Hi Kay and everyone...well, we found out that the catheterization went well, but they found something...and now she needs a triple bypass, which they will do Thursday...the good news is that they got it in time (the cardiologist told her that she was a 'walking time bomb')...

She had 3 blockages: 90% on the right side (which they could correct by angioplasty), but 2 on the left side (80 and 95%, which they can't correct with an angioplasty). So there ya have it....

Dear old Ma is ready to rip all of the tubes and monitors off of her and just walk outta there...she felt GREAT during her stress test, after all...

So, to all of you out there STILL SMOKING, let this be a warning...you KNOW who you are....this is what you have to look forward to...(BTW, Mom quit last week when she found out that she needed a catheterization)...
