That is what puzzles me. He has often acted (as kayak points out) AFRAID of something. There is a desperation in the way he speaks.
But then, he is so downright obnoxious that it doesn't sem to be fear. If he has someone being held prisoner, one would think that he would get government help, or maybe concoct an illness as an excuse to avoid the public eye.
At least we know that Bill Salmon, Mort Kondrake and Brit Hume think it is as weird as we do.
Desperation is a good description of what I saw in him today ..... almost like he was fighting back panic. The man is very afraid of something ..... whether it's his own neck or that of someone near and dear to him or just what I can't even begin to imagine.
I immediately made a leap when I heard about his inability to make it into the CIA. Is he another disgruntled "postal worker" with an ax to grind. Maybe our friend Scott wanted to show his interviewers he could make it in the big show by becoming a UN weapons inspector. The FBI investigation was just a follow up to keep tabs of his contacts. Crazy?
