I had a bad day on Friday (and Thursday also wasn't a red-letter day) so when I got that political garbage via e-mail from one of my bosses, it kind of tipped the scales and made me really want out of my job.
But today went really well. The political stuff didn't bother me because I know I'm an adult and in some ways anyone stuffed up in a university for a long time - like my bosses and colleagues - probably isn't there yet.
I'm actually looking forward to going back tomorrow. I've got a book-on-tape to start tomorrow, Babe Ruth, and have a fun grammar game planned. Oh, and I invited one student to go to church with us so she's going to talk to her sister and brother (also students there) to see if they all want to come to our church.
