ES missing since 6-5-2002 and will have been missing for 3 months in a few hours, so I thought that this would be an approriate time to start a new thread.

Also point to ponder this is called a kidnapping why? kidnapping deals with a ransome, abduction which all other missing children are listed under is when someunknown takes a child. Is there some kind of ransome going on we dont know about?

I'm sure that the abductor, in his wildest dreams, never concieved that the Smart case would recieve the worldwide publicity that it did - within 4 or 5 hours of the abduction - because of the Amber/Rachel alert. The FBI was involved immediately. The massive publicity changed the dynamics. There was no possible way for a kidnapper to contact the Smarts about a ransom without leaving a trace. The simple abduction, ransom and fast money turned into a very high risk proposition. I believe that the perp(s) decided to cut their losses, which more than likely means that ES was killed and buried.

As for your theories, please provide even a single fact which supports your claim.

I found it very interesting that the SLCPD said their view was it was a burglary Liz caught them in. That makes no sense to me or to Ed Smart I might add. What is up with the SL Police?

That story in the Tribune was a carefully crafted leak that IMHO was cleared from the top. Perhaps they want the accomplice to think that. I hope so anyway because this was certainly no burglary.

Perhaps I am a disruptor in your eyes, but I have been following this case since Day 1, and have seen about as many media reports on it as other followers of it have. Perhaps more media reports than you, personally, because your posts seem to seldom ponder the facts of the case. Your comments seem rather emotion-driven, such as the teary-eyed short eulogy you wrote for Ricci at the top of one thread you started.

I am still waiting for the answer to this mystery, and am not yet willing to rule out anyone who knew Elizabeth, nor am I ruling out that this was perhaps the work of someone whose name none of us have heard yet.

Here's the bad news: she has a "cult following" on some other forums, too, after last night's interview.

You seem to get it about Angela. As for her "cult followers," why must the public view of Angela rocket between dreg-of-society, and angelic saint? There is an in-between. After watching last night's interview, I find it painfully clear that this woman is not exactly bright. Either she never was, or she has damaged her brain from too much prescription (and maybe non-prescription) medication. I don't think she was involved, and she certainly wasn't the mastermind of some big plot, as people have speculated from time to time. In fact, I almost think Ricci could have brought Elizabeth right into their mobile home, and would have gotten no reaction from Angela other than "hi, honey, did you have a nice day at the nursery?"

no real hard proof just like the police said but I know where they took her and the are three players involved in this.
