Did ya'll read the polls by the LA Time on OUR Presidents ratings? Awesome. The other 'dropping polls' by the establishments in the east seems a little suspect, huh"

I am looking for the democracts to start getting more vocal against going into Iraq soon, goodness knows we have a few repubs spouting this now but, the hopefuls with the demwitts have got to find something, they 'been searching' for a spell now. I have always wondered, do they sleep well at night?

I am popular at d house today, I get up early, go down to her house, locked up, 6:40 in the A.M., come back home, call to get them up so I can take gd to school and there it was, 'daddy' in a sleepy voice 'its Labor day'. 'OH' I say, I forgot. Oh well, we all got to get up sometime, right?

September 8 would be our 45th wedding anniversity if my wife were still alive, but I am so glad I was given the 43 years with her I was, I can truthfully say, it sure has made me a better man. I must say, I sure miss her, the smiles, the love, the laughs, even the 'fussin' at me when it came. I am going to stay busy for the next couple of weeks, to keep me from the bottom of the barrel.

Prayers for all this day and please, put OUR President on top of your prayer list, even it is just a 'one line prayer'. he sure could use them and for the elderly, a lot of us are alone now, no spouse being around and its hard, in different ways it hard. Misssing someone is universal. Have a good day, a good holiday, a lazy holiday.

Good morning Nita and ALL you wonderful people.

The show was great. The opening was spectacular.....lights of red ,white and blue. Short videos of speeches made by FDR, JFK and President Bush were displayed on large screen. On the same screen there were pictures of WTC.... then....our military jets. :-) In the background Brooks was playing the National Anthem on his flag designed quitar....thousands of fans stood as 6 Marines came to the stage to fold the Flag. The applause was deafening.....Poof....red white and blue streamers ALL over the place while they were singing this song.
