Wouldn't it be interesting to learn how many other ex-cons associate with ex-cons, & have a couple of beers without landing back in jail?
I think a lawsuit was likely from the get-go.
Let's hope so. Maybe it will get those computers open, too.
Now, are we going to have our ducks in a row, making sure of the time frame & that we have witnesses to account for our time? Bet your sweet patooty we will.
The Smarts might see to it that she gets the funds to do it, I'm sure they're far more interested in Angela is to make sure the SLCPD is playing a straight game trying to solve this crime.
I doubt if the Smarts would fund a lawsuit in which they are named as defendants.
Always a good place to start when you don't have many clues. Our intuition comes from within and is like tapping into a culmination of our life experiences. After the initial ideas form, then one needs to see if there is a foundation that can be built that supports the idea. Then as facts are gathered the foundation holds up or not. It really is not that complicated but does require some discipline. Sometimes the foundations are very weak in the beginning but as data is gathered it becomes surer. Other times a strong initial foundation will crumble with the uncovering of one critical clue. We will just have to see how this plays out wont we. I do love a good mystery.
At least one of us has an open mind.
Just the fact that the Smarts have been so careful to deal gingerly with Angela, makes me wonder if they (smarts) aren't concerned about what and how much she knows.
I'm sure they party all the time without any problem with the law. But when they volunteer that they were involved in a burglary, theft, and are suspected in a bank robbery then you can bet that the police are going to bust them on the parole violation. She may sue, but I'm not sure it will go very far. Her best chance would be to go after the press.
Absolutely wrong. The only way to win a lawsuit against the media is to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that malicious intent was involved in a news story. It's virtually impossible to sue the media and win.
You are evading the issue of what a career criminal thinks. This time, he isn't on drugs, & that makes a world of difference.
That Ricci would have not figured the Jeep & Moul into the scenario is absurd! Any other car would have been satisfactory for transporting a skinny girl - in the trunk, for instance.
Haven't you thought of any of this??????
Yeh, too bad Mary Katherine awoke and witnessed the crime. They probably never would have focused on Richard.
Did you also forget that Ed Smart confronted Angela Ricci at a court appearance of Richard's several weeks ago? He spoke to her for about 25 minutes, asking her to ask Ricci to come clean. No dice.
And have you read official documents - ones Ricci signed - that state he voluntarily admitted to thefts or a bank robbery?
Careful, Lakey, don't confuse them with the obvious.
