Right now, in our new church, there is the nicest young teenager....Daniel
Daniel is much beloved by the small congregation.....and they pray for him always.
He's a new Christian (this summer at camp)....and lives part-time with dad & the other with mom.
His dad lives with a girlfriend, and Daniel is pulled hither/thither.
But look where God put Daniel.....right into the hearts of the folks at this good church.....
..to love him, nurture him, and pray for him.
I know, Sweetie, the situation isn't ideal for your grandchildren...(and I couldn't say it more poignantly than Janey)
...but God knows about the two little ones, and He hears your earnest prayers, and sees your tears.
You know He hears you......and you know He cares.
If it weren't for that sort of thinking, I would be nuts by now ... or nuttier ...... *grins*
Daughter's boyfriend's parents are apparently very loving ..... and adore the kids. They are together some ...... and perhaps in another year will see them a lot more. We hope that they, or someone else, can provide the anchor that the kids need ... and a source of true affection. The kids won't be pawns to them.
