You ought to STAY AWAY from that place.

I understand the temptation, though. The greatest thing JimRob ever did, IMHO, was to separate the religion threads from the other forums. I rarely go over there and when I do I remember WHY I got so upset whenever I would visit one of those threads. This way I don't SEE the individual threads listed unless I actually enter the religious forum, and then it's nobody's fault but mine if I get upset, because I really don't need to go there at all anymore.

Okay, I'm babbling. But you know what I mean.

It would be nice to have a religion thread where we could discuss our beliefs w/o fear of ridicule, flaming, etc. But I've come to the realization that is just is not going to happen. So I avoid them. Religiously.;^)

I wanted to tell you that 2 very nice young Mormon gentlemen came to the door today. We had a pleasant conversation and I told them about an on-line friend I have (that's you!) who is LDS and just a very lovely person. I told them that I am Catholic and not about to change, but that if I ever have questions about LDS I would go to you with them, and they gave me a little card with a web address I can look up if I want more info. Then I told them how much I love the Mormon Tabernacle choir and they just sort of chuckled (they must hear that a lot).

At the Irish pub on Tuesday, an older gentlman was playing piano and working the crowd. He was ok on the piano, but he talked or sang during all of his playing. And he rarely resorted to music. He was VERY entertaining.
