Survivor V kicks off on Thursday September 19th, and since a lot of us Freepers had fun speculating on Marquesas, I thought it would be fun to start a thread on the upcoming series.

The bios are out, which you can check out here, and there's already been scandal associated with two of the castaways.

First there's Brian, an actor/used car salesman, who neglected to tell the show that he had a few "blue" movies in his past. They cast a porn star!

Then there's Tonya. Her story could have a lasting impact on the outcome of the show. Shortly before filming came to an end, Tonya's father back in Tennessee was tragically killed in a car accident. Reports are that she was immediately evacuated from the island.

If Tonya was one of the first 7 people ejected from the show, then her departure would have no impact on the outcome. However, if she made it past the merger and either onto the jury or in the final two, then that could mean one less vote in the final two, or something even stranger. Only time will tell.

I'm thinking it's what Erin didn't do, and what Penny was willing to do. "Maybe we should all sleep together tonite?" Yuck. In my mind's eye there was Penny the next morning with a Got Milk? moustache. Ick. Ick. Ick.

I was surprised, I thought Penny was going. Did anyone else miss the reward challenge? Looks like they've dropped it because the tribes are living together. More camera time taping personal interactions/plots/funerals.
They could still do a food reward challenge, let the winners go off for a big feast then come back to camp and burp in the other team's face and talk about how full they were. That would be funny.
The piss shots were gross, but maybe they were doing it to keep the monkeys away. Do you think they could figure out that it 2 of them put a heavy rock on the noodles the monkey couldn't get in???
See you all next week. Looks like you were right, Cuz, no merge. That means 2 of Chewy Gum will have to sit out the next challenge so it's 3 against 3. Obvious like other survivors, the million dollar winner will be from Chewy Gum. My bet is on Brian at this point.
