I am sure that everyone in your family will enjoy it...and its really more than just a story about a boy and his dog...

There are quiet little nuances to the film, where one can see the reltionship between the boys mom and dad, a little bit about segregation in the south of that time,(during WW11 era), how soldiers come back from war and coped, and on and on....
