I got scorched and blistered many times as a child. We didnt have sunscreen... just coppertone "tanning" lotion, but that was usless as soon as you jumped in the pool.

Even the medical professional wasn't all that concerned about the burns -- it was a common case. That sheriff is dangerous. I wonder if Abdallah has a clue about fair skin....

It was a standard part of the first day at the beach for the summer to get crispy fried. It was just something you dealt with. No big deal. Granted, very small children have more sensitive skin and the parents should have realized but it is hardly a criminal offense. Get the government out of the child-rearing business!
