Those great big 7+ earthquakes and multiple aftershocks in the Fiji Islands this week seem to have stopped the S. American quakes.

I want to know why California is saying that if they made the Pledge of Allegiance a mandatory part of the school curriculum it would cost too much money. It never once cost me anything to say it. It also doesn't cost the teachers anything to instruct that it is to be said and it doesn't cost anything for the ruling to be given. I suppose it is to cover the lawsuits from atheists and morons who just want something to b*tch about because nothing else makes any sense, unless maybe they will be furthur damaging the ozone layer by releasing too much CO2 by speaking inflammatory words. They keep predicting that there is gonna be a MAJOR quake in the Seattle WA to Vancouver, BC area soon. If one hit Vancouver that would be a major mess - they certainly didn't build their buildings earthquake proof.

I couldn't watch those tapes on the dogs being poisoned. I love animals too much and I just can't take those kind of pictures. I saw that one beautiful little blond dog sitting in a corner and I changed the channel. I would never watch those tapes.

I only watch crossfire and inside politics every now and then to see how they report things and get a few good laughs. CNN is lost without clinton in office.

They've been predicting "The BIG ONE" there since I was a kid. I think they'll be surprised and Portland wil be hit hard first.... Of course right now they are wrangling over how to replace the unsafe Alaskan Way viaduct on the Seattle waterfront. I think an earthquake will take it down before they make a decision.
The state capitol building in Olympia is still closed for major repairs on the dome, which shifted on its support columns during the Nisqually quake a couple of years ago.
