I will miss y'all, but may get a chance to check in as Mrs. Chairman is bringing along a laptop. I hope to be able to stop by and visit y'all sometime over the next couple of weeks.
Take care each and every one of you!
A few comments, if I may, and other dirty local dem news.
How nice to read that Hy Tightpants, I mean, Av Westin of ABC News and his cronies hold a man in high regard, who, according to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was responsible for over 60 million deaths. [Stalin, for those who missed the comment yesterday] This, of course illustrates how liberal democrats can blindly ignore the diahrreal, diaperless donkey who steadily fills their living room with flop and filth yet goes unacknowledged--just as the real truths are treated in every liberal's argument.

Ooh, the news just reminded me of a big hairy flap in the Lucas Co. [OH] Commissioner's race. Seems the incumbent, Sandy Isenberg [D-Of Course!] was initally being challenged by a local Republican, Investment advisor Dock Treece. She, according to Treece, behind the scene offered him a cushy Port Authority job to drop out! This came out yesterday, all over the local media. Isenberg, of course, denies all and has promised a libel lawsuit. Treece, sadly, has withdrawn from the race. Methinks DT would not make such observations without clear evidence in hand, and we hope to view it soon.
Revisiting the stinky trick department, County Commissioner Isenberg [D-Duh!] had planned to "retire" for one day in order to collect her pension, then having done so proceed to double-dip by immediately resuming work and continuing to draw her salary from the County. She acted on camera tonight like it was not a big thing--but judge for yourself how 'little' said thing is when you realize we are talking $160,000/year, PLUS her regular salary! Fortunately, this fleecing of the people has been put on a slab--permanently, we hope. Mind you, Lucas County is blue, nevertheless, it should be drilled home to these porkers that government service is not an endless trough for the elitists to oink out in at their leisure. Some laws just beg to be changed, and such doings are best started by those who are reading this and find the goings-on distasteful. Notice to the perk pigs: Live within reasonable means or move on to the private sector!
Update: Isenberg was admitted to hospital this morning with alledged chest pains. Speculation runs rampant that it is a last-ditch sympathy ploy [of course], and last night's news brought the head of the county democrat party braying about the Republicans "Starting up once again with the politics of personal destruction" when the dems hold the patent on that maneuver.
Well, all, time is short here, wanted to say today was confirmed my full-time status at work, so much for the probationary period of adjustment. Cool. Have a great evening everyone!
