How about these two salient features: 1)Ricci is involved; 2)But MK has not ID'd him. That's what strikes me as characteristic of this. Sort of a paradox that keeps producing confusion because people keep bouncing off one or the other of these two features.

That pretty well sums it up. That leaves the cops to build a strong circumstantial case against him and they are methodically going about doing so.
