I think this succinctly puts it, as far as my take on the movie.....

I saw this when I walked into church yesterday, and after watching the movie in the afternoon, I thought it most applicable!!

***Life with Christ is an endless hope......Without Him, a hopeless end.*****

If that's not the theme of the movie, I don't know what is!!

Possibly, Guenevere. But you know my thoughts. The theme IMO,isn't all that explicitly or well drawn, beyond the idea that Providence gave us Signs, if only we'd paid attention!
