I went to my dentist yesterday and had my teeth whitened! They glow in the dark now! No really, but they are really white now! I had to sit with my mouth looking like the Joker in Batman for an hour with this little light shoved against my teeth! I asked the dentist to take a photograph of that pose so I could put it on my Christmas cards this year! I have ben wanting to get them lightned since I have Diet Coke stains on them!

Weren't we all going to have a get together one time?

#61....So, you had that new technique.....the one with a light, instead of soaking your teeth in a tray of bleach?
I've been wondering about it.....
So, how does it work if one has a crown, or bonding?
...will the crown get lighter, or stay the same color?

#62...We were, but it keeps fizzling out :(
To: Guenevere
Well, I need to win the lottery or something! It isn't that I am fizzling out...it is my bank account! LOL!

Besides Guenevere, jtill and ohio were recently in Maine! Have fun, CS!!
Time to get busy.....

We will have to have a get together for the reelection celebration of Dubya!!!!
MM - I have been waiting for the lottery to bring my ship in for years!
Guennie - She put some stuff on my teeth, but I had to go in on tuesday and have trays made for follow up twice a week with a lighteneing gel (30 minutes) to keep them glowing. It was worth it, and I have a couple of teeth with bonding, but I can't see any difference. I turned 4 shades whiter, and she said they will continue to brighten for a week with noticeable difference, it is like a kick start she said.
Now I have to get busy, friends coming for dinner tonight and I have t clean, shop, cook ( I have a recipe for Yogi Berra's favorite Osso Bucco - veal shanks cooked tender - so I will bid you all farewell for now! Later, y'all!

Morning all! The drunks from last night are sleeping. I'm taking advantage of the quiet, and doing laundry before they all wake up. After laundry, I'm going to go buy more DVDs, and some grub for the weekend, and then I'm going to sit here and watch movies, eat, drink beer, and freep. Har! A completely irresponible weekend. I've got chores and honey-do's at home, so I feel a little bit guilty, but only a little. ;>)

I've seen some adds for teeth whitening. It seems to be quite popular these days, but frankly I'm not sure I'd want to go the whole 9 yards with it. They do seem somehow unnatural in the ads.
My oldest daughter, 14, is in the midst of orthodontia and we got quite a shock recently. We got her braces on in Singapore and the price was so reasonable. If we had stayed, we could have finished in one year and paid a total of about $700 for that last year. But we moved here to Tennessee and now it will be astronomically higher. The orthodontist was pleased to see that her braces were of a very high quality, using the same material he uses here. But now they're saying that the cost is going to be around $2500 for the last year (or more). Yikes!

#69...This is .....well, there are no words to describe my thoughts/feelings as I read this!
We take WORLD magazine, but I don't think we have this one yet, or I have overlooked this!!
....need to go look through my stack.
What is on the cover?

#71....Don't feel guilty ....Just Be!!! :)...
Trill will understand!
To: Guenevere
The cover is on post #2, a close-up of Lisa Beamer's face looking very peaceful. You probably haven't gotten it yet because it just came online yesterday, I think.

Thanks John.

Trill has to take the dogs to the vet this morning. My old dog has a little trouble getting up in Her SUV. I'm not sorry I missed that little task.

All the drunks are sleeping it off? Didn't you help solve all the world's problems with them last night, like you do in the garage at home?
