#19...LOL, a cat kept sneaking onto my sister-in-law's carport..........just a homeless, starved looking stray cat.
They took pity on her, took her in, and named her Carport Girl
The vet has a good laugh whenever they take her in ....because of her name. :)

Guennie, I am leaving on a vacation in Maine on Sunday and I was wondering if you will be driving through there about the same time. We could meet someplace for lunch or dinner! I am so excitied because we are staying 2 nights in Kennebunkport! I will check out the Walker Point area!

I too drink plain black coffee usually in the AM----no cream/sugar----although I'll sometimes put cinnamon in the grounds....
..but in the afternoon, I like a flavored something or other.

Chair - what I don't understand is why don't the senators who got donations from companies (that stole from the stockholders and employees) just give the money back to those folks by setting up an account to hold the money until it can be distributed back to them!
To: Citizen Soldier
WHERE ARE YOU STAYING IN KENNEBUNKPORT??????????(you can freepmail me!)
We're only going to be there one night, and it's just an OK place.....nothing special.
To: Molly Pitcher
Good morning.

Seems like evil has no age limit.
Are the Indians going to call it quits (sans the possible strike) and start re-building for next year? Where has ABG been? The Bosox are moving towards the gutter and he goes missing.

Then we're going to Northeast Harbor......then to Nova Scotia.
We were just looking online this AM at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.....
...lots of Titanic memorabilia there......it's one of our 'must sees'....

I love to go down to New Hope and Lambertville!
MM - I see guys on "The Antiques Road Show" that have shops in Lambertville.
Also, recently, I read that Torricelli and the guy who bribed him drove down together to Lambertville to pick up a grandfather clock the Torch wanted! Naturally, the guy picked up the tab!

Mail call in a couple of minutes!

Lambertville was awesome too. I don't think I have ever seen so many cute little shops in one small area like that before...
No, I think when it comes time to go dress shopping I am going to 'Run Awaaaaay' to some other dress shop.

When you 2 go to see Signs today, please note the actress who plays the policewoman. Does she remind you of anyone???
To: Citizen Soldier
Maybe some day I will get out that way. I would love to see those shops.
Gosh, you and Guennie going north to Maine sounds SO nice...I love the ocean, and really wish we could afford a getaway this year. Guess I will just look at my daughter's photos! LOL!

In the fwiw dept., St. Pete and up the coast (Tarpon Springs) have tons of antique shops.
In my best Bob Barker voice: COME ON DOWN!

Hi Mike! The Indians have been to-ing and fro-ing on the rebuilding thing for about 7 months now.
IOW, not all their moves have been consistent with that aim, but it looks like, yes, that's what they are trying to do.
As far as I'm concerned, a major step in the right direction was to dump the old manager right after the All-Star break.
Since then, the team has been playing with more enery and direction.
It looks like they have some potential in some excellent young position players and arms, and with the right manager....
Rebuilding around Thome and Viszquel....Bet that more than you wanted to know;^)
what do you think about a strike?
May be some positive signs lately...
Really don't know about ABG...he's just been absent lately.

MM - I am excited to be taking this trip! My hubby just retired and we will really enjoy our week! No calls! Maine is really beautiful along the coast. I hope you will get there one day and see it. I expect there are a lot of antiques shops there too! More the reason to go MM!
OM - I like to lunch at the Lambertville Station, good food.

Hi Mike! I don't have any plans to be in FL anytime soon, but I will check out that area next time I am there. We don't like heat! I grew up in teh VaB area and I had enough to last a lifetime! My hubby doesn't like heat either.
Molly, I haven't chatted with you in a long time! I almost went to see "signs" last night, but we stayed home instead. I will watch for these little details when I do.
To: Molly Pitcher
what do you think about a strike?IMHO, I think it will do damage to the game. It took MLB three years to get back to normal attendance levels after the last strike.
If I was a player, from a practical side, I wouldn't want to give up $4 million a year over some second rate issues. Then again, what do I know?
